Fashion News | Arab Fashion Council reveals date of “Arab Fashion Week” 2015 in Dubai


The “Arab Fashion Week” is a new innovative concept for the fashion industry, representing the core values of traditional fashion shows in a modern style, and reflecting the developments of the Arab culture and creativity.

As an initiative, the Arab Fashion Council, is currently selecting and preparing a group of Arab fashion designers to take part with the “Arab Fashion Week” the first event of its kind in the Arab world, which will be held twice a year, giving talented Arab designers the opportunity to showcase their latest creations during this important occasion, along to the international fashion designers, with presence of global journalists, media and investors.
The aim of “Arab Fashion Week” is to become a global platform with the prevalent group of an exceptional Arab and international fashion designers. It is the new landmark in fashion industry that represents the 22 Arabic countries and for the first time in the history to be marked on the international calendar of Fashion Weeks similar to the Fashion Week in New York, London, Milan and Paris.

During his visit to Dubai, Cavaliere Mario Bosseli, the honorary president of the Arab Fashion Council as well National Chamber for Italian Fashion announced the first “Arab Fashion Week” 2015 to be hosted in Dubai- UAE, from the 1 November till 4 November 2015 promoting the Prêt-à -Couture for the Spring/Summer 2016 collection.
The comprehensive program of this prestigious event, which will include a spectacular opening show by a renowned fashion legend, and will end with the world most luxurious red carpet ceremony titled “The Diamond Night”, will be announced soon.
